yeah it never goes cold

like at Auburn in 2006

That was poor playcalling and you know it.

Think USC. Usually a pretty consistent O, unless injuries plague them.

that 2006 game is not a good barometer.....robbery by officials and terrible play calling. We moved the ball at will in the hurry up. Even moved it at times in the regular tempo only to be hosed.

Not to mention the spread option/spread entirely fricks your defense over b/c they're on the field too fricking much.

The reasons UF is the exception are:

1. superior athletes
2. depth galore
3. power running game with Tebow
4. dedication to short running game by Meyer.

only if you gash teams for big plays

look at UF-LSU 2007. both offenses drove down the field all game. very few big plays

the most successful spread option team is 2005 UT, who lacked 3 and 4

This.

Spread option and the Spread (Texas Tech, SMU) both are either feast or famine. There is no consistency.

UT 2005 was NOT spread option. You're gonna sit there and tell me they ran a spread option a la UF and WV adn UO?

They were more spread and just happened to have a mobile QB. (one of the best ever in CFB by the way)
