Rafa is out of the U.S. Open. It will be interesting if Laver Cup is the end or he regroups for another year.

Med and Tsitsi already lost in Montreal. They had some rain, so I'm guessing guys may have to play twice today. It's strange, I think Montreal and Cincinnati are finishing on Mondays.

Popyrin wins Montreal. Pretty cool to see a guy who hasn't won much so happy.

As he shouldn't. He's still one of the best in the world and it has nothing to do with his GOAT career.

US Open main draw WCs have been handed out.

Eubanks from 2023 Wimbledon darling to needing a WC to make the US Open.

Kei Nishikori left out. Though I think Wawrinka is currently 6th alternate so there might be a chance of 1 WC spot being freed up.

Quality destruction, especially for a first-timer.

Sinner takes the first set of the semi against Zverev 11-9 in the breaker. Rune and Foe are next. Carlitos lost his first match in Cincy, Med lost his first matches in Montreal and Cincy, and Novak didn't play either tournament. Sinner has seemed hobbled at times the last couple of weeks. The Olympics have made it a strange summer.

Honestly can’t believe he’s fighting through injury like that right before the Open. He def had chances to check out if he wanted to.

So Mackie McDonald is playing a doubles final at 1 pm in Cincy and has a singles match scheduled for 8:30 in Winston Salem. As of now he still hasn't withdrawn from the singles. Times have definitely changed.

Court speed update. So, I thought I heard Iga and Carlos complained Cincy is too fast. One justification for that would be if the U.S. Open is the same. But, Courier said he spoke with Meddy's coach the other day. The coach said Ashe is playing significantly slower than Cincy.

Have never been to US Open, but will be heading that way soon. For anyone who has been to the US Open, are there any really good restaurants around the BJK tennis center? I’ve been doing my research on pizza places, and looks like most of the hot trendy name places are in the Greenwich Village/lower West Manhattan. Anything good worth trying out over in Queens close to the tennis facility?

I've never really hung out near the tennis center, I just stayed in Manhattan. A Greek girl I used to work with said there is great Greek food in Astoria.

We will be staying in Manhattan. Again, looks like most of the pizza recommendations I’ve received are lower west side. Any recs for mid town Manhattan?
