They really haven't done a damn thing to be in the top 5. Georgia is pretty awful and that's their best win. IDGAF about how many games their senior class or coach have won

They will not be in the NCG. There is no way they should be allowed playing Toledo, Fresno State and Air Force. Give them their token at-large bid to a BCS game, if they run the table.

Of course not, it just bothers me seeing them in the top 5 over teams like Wisconsin, Stanford, and Clemson.

UGA could very well win the SEC East and may be the 4th best team in the SEC behind Bama/LSU and Arky. They have won 5 strait, they are not awful

They still haven't got to the good teams on their schedules yet.

perhaps you could define awful for me then, it seems we have different definations. By your defination it would seem there are only 4 or 5 teams that are not "awful".

Please note i did not say UGA was great, i just that they are not awful. If you think UGA is awful, I hope you are not bragging about how tough the SEC is when it comes to LSU or Alabama both have played at least 2 of the same teams UGA has beaten.

When in the hell did we get to the point the SOS trumps all?

I think the East is terrible.

seeing as the current rankings are based on what' teams have done so far, how is that relevant?

It starts this week for Wisconsin and Stanford, so I suppose it doesn't. However, it isn't only about who they've played. They just look like better football teams than Boise. Georgia has looked awful, even in their wins against Ole Miss, Vandy, etc.

Relative to the SEC West, but you can't have it both ways, based on your comments the SEC sucks overall. So you can't use the SEC is the best conference card to prop up LSU and Bama if everyone but those 2 teams is "awful".

The ideal situation would be for all the schools in the big 12 to lose at least one game. LSU has already proven that they can beat the best from the Pac-12 and Big East. If Wisconsin makes it to the NCG then you can count on another National title for the SEC.

When did I do this? LSU, Bama, and Arky are the only really good teams out of the SEC. LSU will have to beat both of them to make the NC. Besides, they've already played and won against Oregon (potential Pac-12 champ) and WVU (likely Big East champ). So, I don't need much more of an argument to prove LSU's worth.

I tend to agree, if I was voting, I'd have Boise around 8 or 9. The B1G does not look good this year and Wisky played a terrible OOC slate. Stanford has been steam rolling some bad teams, if they beat Oregon and Notre Dame, plus the Pac 12 CG, they will probably jump ahead of Boise.

just so you're on the record then in your view the SEC is not the best conference this year then, correct?.
