Them losing, not so wild. But they typically tend to score a lot and Kansas St isn't known for their defense, so for an undefeated team to put up ZERO against a middling opponent over an entire game is crazy.

It's not like Kansas St was playing a slow, ball control offense either. Oklahoma State was just worthless.

I was surprised to say the least. I kept flipping back to that game waiting on the comeback that never happened.

what was more surprising this year:

K-State 48 - 0K State

or

Texas 49 - 0U

Grundy always loses a game he shouldn’t each year.

In their last three times Oklahoma State beaten Texas, they followed it up with a loss the following week. They always seem to have a letdown after beating Texas for whatever reason.

Also, Kansas State’s a weird schizophrenic team. They annihilate a Missouri team that’s been very competitive in the SEC this season and lose to Tulane the following week. They looked completely dominant against TCU early in the game building a 28-10 lead and then give up 28 consecutive points to lose. They barely beat a mediocre Iowa State team 10-9 but then crush a top 10 Oklahoma State team 48-0.
