You think OSU should be in over ND

tOSU would BEAT THE BREAKS off ND IDGAF that they lost by 29 to Purdue a few months ago thats just FACT

And I'm pretty sure UGA would beat tOSU, OU and ND comfortably. But the results on the field have to mean something.

I think that if the committee were consistent, it would be either...

1. Alabama
2. Clemson
3. UCF
4. Notre Dame

...or...

1. Alabama
2. Clemson
3. Oklahoma
4. Ohio State

I'd be fine with either.

Simple question: do you think OSU should be in over ND? And if yes, do you think PSU should have been in over OSU in 2016?

Explain why you think those are comparable.

Why wouldn’t UCF be in for you in either scenario? They won their conference.

So did Alabama, Clemson, Oklahoma, and Ohio State.

ND (non-conference champ) finished with one fewer loss than OSU (conference champ). OSU (non-conference champ) finished with one fewer loss than PSU (conference champ, who even beat OSU H2H). Seems pretty clear to me.

Only three of these beat every team on their schedule.

Ok cool.

So I guess it's a good thing that more than "fewer losses" is supposed to be used.

clearly losing by 29 weighed heavily

Cool. I also accounted for that one...

Mullens said "inconsistencies" against Nebraska and Maryland were the biggest reason.

Why should OSU have gotten in over PSU in 2016? Answer that question.

Penn State lost 49-10 against Michigan. Same reason for excluding Ohio State this year AND Penn State had a second loss (Pitt) in 2016.

I didn't make that claim.

They play BBall in the ACC and should play football there,
So nd has to play hockey in the acc?

Nah.

You have no logic behind your statement. Bball therefore football is not compelling in and of itself and its all you've got.
It ain't necessarily so.
Nd has their own contract for football.

No shite. What does a game in 2017 have to do with 2018 again?

I was replying to a comment that moving to 8 games would not have purdue on the schedule, and an FCS team scheduled before the Michigan game would fix Ohio State's problem.

That wouldn't fix Ohio State's annual bed shitting.

Either every team should be on an equal footing for games played once in the playoff (13 games unless affected by some other event: hurricanes, 9/11 type scenarios), or freeze the final rankings after rivalry weekend and do not count the Conference Championship Games into the determination of the final four.

agree 100% either all or none, even though it still favors the weak conferences in that the hardest game would be the final conference game....

my other problem was that they can use the ACC for BBall when convenient and then NOT use the ACC when it is not.
