But I dont bet against LSU.
Why not?? It's called the hometown hedge. Throw some money on MSU ML and if it loses then LSU wins and you're happy. And if LSU loses at least you have some cash to soften the blow.

With that being said pretty much every square play hit on Saturday
basically that the public favorites hit this weekend (which is rare)
squares -your casual bettor, plays the public favorites
sharps- smart money

MSU is prolly a good play. But I dont bet against LSU. Laying off for sure though
im the same, i normally dont bet tennessee games at all. Because even if they win and dont cover im pissed, and that takes away from enjoyment of the win for me.
But back to lsu sat, i think they should win by double digits, also vegas knows 80% of the public thinks this, so they made that line extra juicy... i will probably lay off myself.

usually on any give saturday the public favorites do not do well at covering the spread.... last weekend they racked up!

Can anybody explain to me why La Tech is an underdog after beating WKU 59-10 towards the end of last year? Did they lose their QB, O-line, D-line and receivers?
Didn't lose enough to justify the line. Although Tech played Southern in week 1, I thought they looked good.
I also watched WKU v Vandy and thought they both looked like crap.

liking la tech +1.5 right now

Exactly what games are you referring to? A few public sides won but they didn't "rack up." You yourself hyped up Penn St and TCU. Both were massive public sides and both didn't cover. Stanford was a huge public side and didn't cover. As was Auburn. Arizona St and Oklahoma St were also both heavy public teams and they didn't cover either. Miss St. was a 21 point favorite getting 76% of the action (sportsinsights) and as you can probably deduce, they did not cover.
Bama, Ohio St., and Notre Dame were big public favorites that covered. That's pretty much it

because western ky is comming off a win vs a sec school. The squares will be on them because of this. Im liking the la tech side also

bama, osu, nd, tennessee, oklahoma, ole miss are a few big public favorites off the top of my head. And yes i was on tcu and penn state, and also said i dont normally like to play public favorites once i placed those bets, but it was week one and i liked them. And yes, the public did rack up, there is more money placed on those teams i mentioned than games with smaller schools. More money is placed on the larger big name schools every week for the most part.

How is pointing out that the statement "the public sides racked up" is false by listing evidence of such trolling? He said something that is unequivocally false and I corrected him.

Lost on Va Tech last night, but had a successful first week. I don't post all my plays in here like most of you do so take it fwiw.
Already put 1 unit on Oklahoma -1 without doing any research which isn't very smart.
Why is Clemson only -17.5 against App St?

by giving an example of two teams? i didnt say public side won every single game. But they did win majority of the big school games where the most money is played.
