Good luck. I may stay away from that game.

When the lines first opened. Probably a little after the BCS championship. It got bought down so fast. Similar to the movement in the Bama game.

Any thoughts on the Tenn nc state o/u (52.5 on 5dimes ATM)?

UTs o will put up points but I don't know a lot about nc state.

You think? UT lost their best receiver.

Yes, but Braysus is still Brayaus. He has one great target in Hunter and I imagine he'll also be able to connect with other receivers even if they don't have DaRicks playmaking ability.

NC state will DEFINATELY out up points with Glennon unless he goes all Connor Shaw on us tonight.

I think UT will give up some points. Switching from 4-3 to 3-4 will be tough.

What are the major likes and dislikes with the games this weekend? I haven't done much research this season so far. I see most, besides CHEM, have MSU covering Boise; however, it's up to 7.5 on oddsmaker so I'm not sure how I feel. Could buy half a point but I hate doing that. Any other favorites for most of y'all?

I am quite new but I believe that stands for "money line". I associate that mostly with betting a team straight up.

Example: the moneyline for N. Texas against LSU is (+40,000), meaning if you wager $100 and N. Texas beats LSU straight up, you win $40,000 (I believe that's correct)
Whereas the moneyline for LSU is (-120,000), meaning you would have to be $120,000 to win $100.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

they actually have a ML for the LSU game? Usually when there's such an overwhelming favorite, there's no ML. I mean with those odds there may as well not be one

I'm feeling pretty confident about the over in the Oregon/Arky State game (locked it at 67.5)

I'm also pretty confident about USC not being able to cover 42 against Hawaii. But I haven't seen much talk about that on here.

Anyone playing the SMU @ Baylor game?

SMU +8 1/2 doesn't look bad to me. I think they are a solid team and that baylor is a bit shaky. Don't feel overly confident though.

I know right? So ridiculous. Although on the off chance you put down $10 on N. Texas and they pull off a shocker, you win 12 grand

They were pumping both this and your Oregon/ArkySt bets on the radio earlier. All 3 guys talking loved the over on Oregon's game

damn oddsmaker is always a little further away from the line I want...they have 69.5 O/U

That does seem like it'd be a high scoring game for Oregon, but how will their D fair against Arky State? Will that new offense flourish opening game or fall flat? That's the real question mark in this game.

5dimes has it at 68.5 currently

Oregon's defense is supposedly the best defense they've had in a while. Just need Arky State to score at least 10 and Chip will get 60+ like they always do against cupcakes.

Lean SMU. Baylor has lost so much.

As far as USC I bet them at 38. Not sure I would touch it now. Don't get this Chow talk that they won't run it up on him. Kiffen is still a dickhead.

Not sure about running up the score, but Chow will have some offense up his sleeve good for a few scores, especially since most of the starters for Kiffin will be gone. Already thin on defense, don't need additional injuries. I could see Hawaii scoring some points in the 4th to keep USC from covering.

Agree with the back door cover but Hawaii is awful. Feel happy with -38 considering it jumped 4 points.

Also think LSU will cover but wouldn't recommend it as a bet. Think we air it out with Mett to get him ready for Washington

I'm making it a point, especially since I'm a novice, to not bet LSU games. I don't want to get into a jam betting for LSU when I probably shouldn't be. I will also not be betting Cowboys when I get at the NFL.
