Getting in on a 4 team teaser to start the season off. Feel free to make suggestions. I will probably jump on Mich St, Bama, O/U on Oregon, and the O/U on Auburn. Still debating.

133 SO Carolina -.5 vs Vandy
151 Tennessee +3 vs NC State
154 Michigan St -.5 vs Boise St
157 Notre Dame -10 vs Navy

I'm not a fan of teasing down a team to 0.5. Its not like there will ever be a tie so you are wasting points.

It's set up on a 6.5 point teaser ... what would you suggest I tease those down to?

1 should be the lowest you tease something to. Personally, I try to stay 1.5 or higher because even at 1, the best you can do it tie. You should NEVER cross a zero (some people say its okay to cross the zero if you end up at +3.5, but I won't ever cross it). If you tease any lower than 1, to .5 or 0, the you are essentially throwing value and the odds you are paying, out the window

just trying to limit it

why? cause it is in beta mode right, let's see how it goes for a couple of weeks and then add people as we go

i hardly ever throw down on anything the first two weeks of CFB and pro

but here is what i think so far

Bama is gonna rape michigan, going back and watching the sugar bowl i know this to be true.. shoelace may die

Watch the lattimore situation with the Vandy/USCe game

GT-VT is gonna be a game to watch for sure, if i was throwing down on anything probably wouldn't touch it. But i haven't looked at the game closely enough

Everybody seems to think that that the 61t in the WSU/BYU is gonna get destroyed because Leech is coaching his first game and the lack of defense, not buying it

finally, UTk vs. the Failpack.. if you wait till kickoff there is going to be some serious ML value in N.C. St., this is there superbowl.. all summer long they had that ugly arse T plastered all over their weight room. They are set for this game, and i'll take o'brien over dooley any day. If the failpack can contain the Vols rungame they should run away with it

im leaning strong towards bama too, nice information on NCSt (I am not a big dooley fan either). thanks for the analysis; when posters provide the reasons for their picks its the most valuable part of the thread!

I have a two-leg parlay ready with Washington and Miami (FL). Huskies are easy $$$ against SDSU.

I also have a chalk parlay with OU, Ohio State WVU and USC.

Don't be coming in this thread posting parlay nonsense. Start a "CFB sucker bets" thread and bring all parlays there

actually, i am supporter of dooley; i think he is a good coach and better person. But, being a good guy doesn't win you football games

absolutely, saying what you think is one thing.. backing it up with creditable info is something totally different

but those analysis is just me just barely skimming over the games so far
