Johnny Mac, Fowler, and BG. My favorite combo.

He's going to crush what's his face. I think the concern previously was that Nadal would stroll into the final while Novak/Murray had the potential to be all an out 5 set battle of attrition, giving Nadal an advantage in the final. Now they'll probably be coming in on similar situations

Youzhny looks terrified whenever he has a clear shot at a winner.

Nice find. That's a cool thing about tennis. Guys that are close to each other in age have been playing regularly since before they even hit puberty.

Stan The Man will give Djokovic more trouble than Gascoke will give Nadal, but not so much that he's going to be depleted for the final.

I'm expecting some high level tennis in that final. Both guys are fresh. Both guys are healthy. Both guys are peaking. Both guys want this tournament equally bad.

The lines Vegas is posting before Youzhny's service games are hilarious. Each time, Djokovic is (roughly) +140 to break his serve.

You're checking the lines before each service game? I think you might have a problem bro

Johnny Mac is excellent.

I think P-Mac is stale. Not a moron, but just not particularly insightful. I like Johnny Mac, Cahill, and Gilbert. And like Fowler because he does an excellent job of being cognizant of when one of those guys has gone off into "tennis speak" and bringing them back to normal viewer level with simple "what do you mean by that" questions.

I'm pulling so hard for Djokovic to win this thing. If Nadal wins I might have to begrudgingly start giving him some GOAT cred

I like Li Na. She might take a set, but I don't see her winning.

Yes, that is why I think Fowler is great. He brings the game back to the commoner when these guys get a bit technical, but a lot of tennis dorks always bitch about "outsiders" like him and Tirico.

John is generally great, but has a few blind spots on things like equipment and either has trouble communicating what he is thinking or is flat wrong.

I always loved Cliffy and Fiery Fred Stolle in my youth. Not sure why ESPN and Fred parted ways. Holy smokes, in looking up this match, I see Rod Laver and Vijay Amritraj were the sideline guys with them.

If Li Na beats Serena, we should both buy the Mandarin version of Rosetta Stone and ban ourselves from TD until we are fluent in our new language.
