You picked Weidman to win, great he won, but you are making these ridiculous claims like silva has a punchers chance against Weidman.. Silva got caught dude. By no means is CW's stand up better than AS. Just like Sierra vs GSP and JDS vs Cain.

But he only went to showing off after he had no answer for weidman. He figured that out half way through 1st. It was lay on my bad and eventually get caught in a GNP or do my best to keep it on my feet. He was gonna be on his back for 5 rounds if he didn't taunt

I don't think it was a fluke win, but Silva certainly did not give his best. He was to busy showing off and hot dogging against a very good fighter.

Well, I disagree. The "hot dogging" was strategic and a desperate move IMO. I believe Silva thought that was the only chance he had to win the fight.

No. You can see from my posts before the fight I clearly stated Anderson's ONLY chance was to catch Weidman early in the fight with a strike. Otherwise he had very little chance to win. In other word's a "punchers chance".

Except gsp and Cain were actually caught. Weidman controlled the match whole time

I'm not so sure about that, Weidman shot in the 2nd round and was denied very easily. I think it could be argued. We just didn't see enough IMO. It kind of sucks, but I have no doubt we will see a rematch. I think Dana was already talking Super Bowl weekend in Newark.

Honestly, if Anderson himself thinks he is the better fighter, all he has to do is step up and accept the rematch being offered to him right now.

I don't see that happening though.

it's going to happen...give the guy some time to relax and think things through. It doesn't make him a coward or someone looking to dodge a fight because he didn't decide the moment after he lost.

I'm not so sure weidman wanted to go to ground with the taunting though. I think it was a more of keep him honest type shoot. Even his corner was telling him to knock a fricking hole in his chest. Not really a take down statement

Now you are saying silva is scared to take the rematch. Wow, you are too much. What did silva do to make you hate him so much?

Hope it does happen. And I agree Anderson is no coward and could change his mind.

I just doubt he does though. He purposely avoided Weidman about a year ago before Weidman got hurt and had to have surgery. I just do not think he will take a rematch, but hopefully he does. The UFC will try to get him to and it would mean BIG money for him.

Proving your ignorance. I'm sure Weidman's gameplan was to beat Silva standing up.

I have nothing against Silva. I do not mind pointing things out and correcting the misguided fanboys though.

The fence prevented the takedown from being a full commitment from Weidman. He could not follow through with the double leg as Anderson backed up against the fence, realized it, and aborted.

So silva ducked weidman for a year, but your GOAT fedor ducked the UFC all together. Seems logical.

It wasn't his gameplay.

Silvia's taunting work and he wanted to beat him on his feet. Silva got what he wanted out of the taunting minus the knockout.

Why is it because I give weidman credit I'm ignorant? You fricking fan boys pussies are hurting so much

Ducked is too strong a word. He did intentially ask the UFC for three different fighters as options, none named Weidman (or GSP, Bones, Vitor).

He chose to fight better competition in other orgs, yes. You need to know your MMA history and the state of the UFC HW division better.

I give Weidman all the credit in the world. He was the better fighter last night and won the fight in impressive fashion. I like Weidman too. He is a great fighter and i said in a different thread this would be a tough fight for anderson. I just didn't see enough in this fight to make me think Weidman wins 8-10 against Silva. If he wins the rematch my tune may change.

And of course you respond to facts with opinions and yet more insults.

Some opinions, some facts. And sorry about the insult. I have been watching MMA and buying UFC PPVs for a very long time though. I've bought UFC, Pride, Strikeforce, and BoDog events and been to bars to watch most of those I didn't buy over the years. First UFC PPV I watched was Don Fry vs Mark Coleman back in 1995 or so when it was still "human cock-fighting".
