I've heard the same thing from a guy who was in the army who believes it 100%. He said the story was that Tillman was super cocky and had begun talking a bunch of shite and they thought he was turning against the war so someone took him out. I don't really buy it but he's adamant about. He's also been known to be full of shite though.

That's all complete bullshite. He was vocally against the Iraq War, but he was killed in Afghanistan by friendly fire. Let's focus on the real outrage- that he was killed by friendly fire on a pointless mission due to nonsensical military bureaucratic protocol and then the circumstances of his death were covered up. There's plenty enough tragedy in that alone, no need to resort to conspiracy theories.
