Idk, you're probably right.

I'm not sure what my hang up with them is.

I watch them. And I'm like, alright, alright. They're ok.

Yet they're sitting here in 5th and 2 games out of 1st.

I don't know if the west isn't as good as I thought it was...? Lebron is playing the least amount of minutes he ever has and is kinda feeling out this kind of inconsistent team and yet here they are.

I'm almost waiting for them to go on a 4-10 streak and drop to the 13th seed.

The West is absurdly good and deep but they aren't great at the top record-wise.

The Rockets aren't nearly as good as expected.

And the Warriors were missing the 2nd best player in the NBA in Steph Curry for a while, and they are historically pretty meh when he's out. Plus they don't care about the regular season any way.

I think you can safely add CC to the ‘not worried about regular season” bucket too.

Wondering how someone so plugged into the team like yourself completely whiffed on that notion?

I get that. I'm not even talking about GS. As far as I'm concerned, a healthy GS sleepwalks to a championship no matter where Lebron is.

The Lakers don't look like anything special to me. But would I be surprised if they could, in a playoff series, beat(if Lebron goes God mode like he does in the playoffs)..

Dallas?
Portland?
Memphis?
Minn?
Sacramento?
Utah?

Absolutely not.

CC?
OKC?
LAC?
NO?
Maybe even Denver?

I mean, not really.

All these west fans had me thinking Lebron would have zero chance of getting out of the first round in the west. And they might not. But thus far, to me it looks like playoff Lebron could knock off most of these teams.

Welp. I underrate them the last two seasons based on end of year seeding so it’s to be expected to be a little on the overrated side after underrating them for so long no? When it comes to 70 wins that is.

Not talking about a win prediction, talking about how badly you whiffed on the team mindset.

I really thought you were plugged in, but I'm going to have to rethink that and think you're more of an outsider going forward since you were so far off.

Same difference. Mind set leads to wins. If GSW has “lets Win regular season games” mindset they would win 75 each year. CC is similar.

Right, and you whiffed terribly on the mindset, very disappointing for a guy who is plugged in like you.

You don't need that mindset if you're going to #SleepwalkTo60 wins.

I love the backtracking is already happening. But then again, these are all just #CasualFanThoughts
