McNeese State SS Jace Peterson, also a safety on the football team goes 58 overall to the Padres.

Thought I remembered most of the guys the Mariners took in the top 10 rounds had a scouting report on them, so far Hultzen is the only guy with one. Mariners just took Hicks, Hultzen's catcher at UVA.

Weren't there a lot more scouting reports last year on mlb.com? Seems like there are probably only 75 or so players with one this year.
I'm not sure about last year, but I know that a few years ago they had reports on nearly half of the players drafted.

Only thing to add is that he's 18 year old JC guy and won't turn 19 until August. Basically a HS guy in terms of age and how raw he is.

Im being unbiased when I say I really hope the Astros get Nola
He struggles with control at times but when he has his control do its just disgusting and hes virtually unhittable.

Love the stros pick

44. Nick Tropeano:
LINK - Small School Sleeper: Nick Tropeano, Stony Brook, 3.74 FIP, 9.57 K/9, 2.62 BB/9. THIS is how you follow up a good summer. Named the top prospect in the Atlantic Collegiate League by Baseball America, Tropeano followed it up with a brilliant spring for Stony Brook. Teams love his projectable 6-foot-4 frame, and he already has feel for a curveball and changeup.

Is that 4 pitchers in a row for the Astros?

I'm a little out of the loop on the draft being from the northeast here.
Any names falling, gone undrafted so far?
Trying to get pumped for summer league ball (Cape Cod) but I'm not familiar with (m)any of the players listed so far.
CCBL rosters (so far)
Outside of the LSU guys, any names I should be watching for? TIA

Tells you what the stros think of the arms currently in their farm system. Bubkis now that Lyles was called up.
