Redemptorist is gonna have their hands full with the rematch this week. Hilliard is actually at 100% this time around and he'll be able to go toe to toe with Hill. He didn't play in the second half earlier this year and that was the difference.

Patterson is motivated and looking for revenge. I smell an upset brewing

Im not familiar with Pattersons roster, but who else on their team is making big plays?

RHS comming into the game with a good starting line up besides the usual team of Hill and Collins. Talbert made some good returns last game, and Warner is playing real well.

Its gonna be cool seeing Patterson come play at "the rock"...i wonder if they gonna bring their big inflatable tunnel with them..lol

Kenny actually didn't play a couple district games and they still scored over 50.

Dexter Aucoin is a Tulsa commit on defense but plays both ways at times. Stewart and Jones are the replacements for Hilliard and they've looked good; the QB Justice Jones is a playmaker as well.

This team is much better than the one that played Redemptorist back in September

It is extremely hard to beat a good team twice in one season....

based on what? the dominance they showed against Ouachita? the 2 loses they had during the regular season? the weak schedule STM played (Zachary, Acadiana, Evangel, New Iberia, Westgate, Carencro, Cathoic)? the fact that STM has given up more than 20 points only once in 12 games?

What about the multiple d-1 receivers the qb is throwing to, or the 3-d1 prospects on the offensive line?

Just a gut pick honestly, I think St.Aug has more individual talent, but that doesn't make them the better team. It will be a close game and I went with the home team. STM has beat some very impressive teams so it can go either way.

If STM and Acadiana both advance, who will host the SF match-up?

I know they played once earlier this year. Where was that game played?

I think Acadiana has to travel no matter who wins the other game.

It was played at STM and if they both advance it will be played at STM in the biggest game in STM history. Book it. Last game there were 6 rows deep people standing on the track.

It'd be smart number wise to pay it at Cajun field but no way STM gives up home field advantage.

LHSAA should really take control of the semifinal round... it's getting too big for some schools' stadiums.

maybe have the LHSAA approve the stadiums used. anything bigger than Pan American would be okay for 5A.

this would be great. If i remember correctly Acadiana played a semi final game against WM at cajun field when alley broussard was the RB. So it could happen. I guess it is up to the amount of tickets that are being asked for. I say if it hits around 6.5-9k on ticket sales it goes to cajun field which would bring in an even bigger crowd. This game is going be huge in lafayette if both win friday
