I just always looked at pro sports different than college sports.

with college its LSU and frick everyone else and that wont change. with stuff like the nfl its more video games from growing up and just players i like.

the 90's were a good time to be a dallas cowboy fan...we had a helluva drought after roger staubach retired...joe montana, phil simms, ron jaworski, and joe theisman were all well feared (hated).

Dude, step out of your biased bubble of south louisiana. There's so much else out there.

BTW, Austin, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio >>>>> Lafayette.

nope...it don't, but one can get a outstanding handjob from a hot chic while driving a german convertible here.

plenty of outdoors here in texas...plenty of great schools...plenty of ways to make a decent living and afford luxuries such as major sports, fine dining and plenty of trips dropping plenty of money into the louisiana economy.

it certainly lacks the culture and soul of new orleans, but nobody in the country has that much culture, which is why we love to come back as often as we can...often enough to buy another home there. this place doesn't seem to be affected by recession...not since i've been here.

not to mention i know most of the players, and they really are great guys [flame on]

im not gonna flame, you know your people i know mine...... i can't abandon this place... it needs me and others who will stick it out not to abandon it.... i get calls from head hunters pretty regularly for jobs from the houston and dallas market promising me well over six figures. i turn them down because i won't move... i love louisiana to much... didnt mean to piss in your cheerios; you have your opinion and i have mine. i apologize for "flaming" you. it's something i feel very strongly about. and to the guy who said south la. isn't beautiful, you're a tard.... no where else has the sceneries we do. sorry but the big city skyline doesnt beat watching the sunset while reeling school's of trout.

the only reason for me to be in nashville is if either of my kids wanted to go visit vandy...i'd talk them out of attending there, though. no scholarship giving mf's.
