So this is all about gambling in the end
Posted on 6/7/14 at 4:56 pm to Winkface
What channel is this on, or is there a way to stream?
Posted on 6/7/14 at 4:56 pm to TheIndulger
NBC and their website will be streaming it

It's a 2-minute race. Of course it's about gambling
Posted on 6/7/14 at 4:58 pm to genro
What time do they have the final race slotted for?
50?
50?

BY the way, I would like to give mad props to Steve Coburn for not spilling a drop of his beer at the end of the Preakness when he was jumping around. That man would do just fine in the SEC fan section.

7:40 and then last race goes off at 8:12.

So you buy a horse. How do you know if it's even a race horse? Runs fast? I imagine this is a crapshoot most of the time.

Well, you look at the pedigree, you look at the conformation, and then you pray.
Posted on 6/7/14 at 5:01 pm to Cajun Revolution
What time does this horse run?
Posted on 6/7/14 at 5:02 pm to SoGaFan
frick all of you. I hope Matuszak wins just to show you motherfrickers that you're a bunch of useless posers in the sport of kings.

You pay a shite ton of $

The vast majority of these horses have centuries old pedigrees and cost 6 or 7 figures for breeding rights. California Chrome is an exception, he pretty much was just a random arse horse who turned out to be great. That's pretty unheard of

It is. But they are bred to race.

Bob Costas is psyching this jockey out. Weird interview.

Asp, what time is cc running? I don't know all this post race and slot lingo. Just need to know what time to tune in
Posted on 6/7/14 at 5:08 pm to Mr Facts
If CC stumbles out the gate, I would have Victor on suicide watch

Seems the whole thing is genetics. You can't just go buy a horse. Yours any good?
Seems like something only a select few can compete with that can pay whatever fees to breed.
