I'm pretty sure Tsonga won in straight sets.
yeah, tsonga won 6-4, 6-4, 7-6

Once Blake was broken back in the 3rd when he was serving for the set, it was over.

You're right. I knew it was 3, but my fingers disagreed.

tsonga/nadal should be a good match if they both win. nadal has to want revenge from last year

Yeah...Tsonga's got his hands full though. Verdasco is an animal right now. The 5 setter may have taken it out of him though.
If Andy Roddick is ever going to win another major (I can't believe I'm even typing that), this is it. He's as fit as he'll ever be, he's not getting younger, Djokavic hasn't been at his best, the DelPotro/Fed winner could be exhausted, and anything can happen in a final.
I'm just glad he made the quarter. He's fortunate to still be a top 8 guy and he knows it, so to justify his seed is big.

well, federer just absolutely crushed del potro 6-3, 6-0, 6-0 in easily the most impressive performance of the tournament. i guess his close call woke him up, which might be bad news for roddick.

Federer also just crushed Djokavic. Pretty much called him a quitter and a bitch.

How very hardcore of you.
Dude, look at Blake's track record in big matches. He is a choker extraordinaire.

Damn, I saw that. Fed got on him pretty good.

yeah, i watched the first 2 sets and it was pretty unreal. fed made him look like he was ranked about 106th instead of 6th

Told you I sucked with predictions.

Djok is being a vag, i mean its not like he passed out, and he looked fine after the match. I can't believe he called it, he just should have let roddick finish him off.

It's the fourth time he's done this in a major...it's really disrespectful to the game.
Anyways, props to Andy for keeping his head. Djokavic was pulling a ton of bullshite out there, and Andy was just hopping around with great body language. A semi-final is huge for him...to make the top 4 at a major is an overachievement for Roddick, IMHO. He doesn't have the athletic ability/fluidity of the top 4, but the serve is as big of a weapon as ever and he's moving like he's 19.

Roddick looked very good against Djokovic. He was playing containment tennis in the first set. Started attacking in the second. If he can keep up the attacking and cut off the points against Fed without getting passed everytime, he's got a shot. Would love to see him do it. Novak Djokovic should be embarrassed. He certainly talks like he belongs at the top- he just needs to play like it. He gives out after 1 and 1/2 sets? Becoming too frequent a retiree.
