The aren't nearly as good as you make them out to be. They can't stop DWill and if Okur comes back he will give them hell on pick and rolls. IMO this years team is so overrated its not funny.

You do realize that I am a Laker fan? Take of the Laker glasses for a moment. Their defense is horrible, Kobe is making stupid plays, and blowing 20 point leads by playing lackadaisically is nothing to brag about.

I'd say their defense is above average. Horrible is an overstatement for a team that finished in the top half of the NBA defensively. Also, L.A. gives up 7.9 points more per game than league leader Cleveland, but how close would the gap be if Bynum had been in the middle all year?

But consistently being up by 20 is. EVERY team coasts when up.
ETA: I'm not happy with tonight's performance, but shite, this Utah team would be a 4/5 seed in the East, and the Lakers have beaten them by double digits twice already. Stop whining.

Yeah, on paper this Lakers team is the shite. Unbeatable on paper. But watch them play, and they aren't that good. Do I think they are the best team in the NBA this season? Yes, I do. But you are making it seem like they have no holes and will skull frick anything in their path. They can play like this against Utah and still win, but later in the playoffs they better get their shite straight.

I'm telling you right now that the only team that can take L.A. to six games this year is Houston and Cleveland. If that sounds like skullfricking, it's just how it is. This team isn't the 2001 Lakers, but they are better than last year's team who cruised through the West (which was better IMO).

Well hopefully this happens, and if not, maybe one embarrassing loss will turn them around. I honestly don't think they'll blow a big lead in these playoffs after last year's home atrocity against Boston.

Awesome 1st quarter, but the rest of the game was just back and forth. The 33 assists were impressive but the 21 turnovers were just way too much. Ariza and Brown each had a very good game.
Lakers get their 11th straight win at home against the Jazz, but have won only 3 of their last 10 in Utah and with Utah being so much better at home the next 2 games should be a war.
