It's BS that Bama gets to sit home while Auburn and Georgia had to put it all on the line in an elimination game.

That's why I think the first criteria should be "did you win your conference championship?". If not, go to the back of the line.

Hell, I'd be okay with OSU or even USC at this point.

This is true. But the counterpoint is, sometimes a 2 or 3 loss team will win the conf championship. Why should a 2 or 3 loss team get in over a 1 loss team who just happens to play in a pusher conference.

It’s an endless debate with no clear answer.

Last year OSU went over PSU Bc PSU had two losses. So I suppose Bama should get in over OSU for the same reason?

USC is not a championship team. I hate Bama too and I’m frankly tired of the same few teams being in the playoffs every year, but USC is not deserving.

Ohio State will get in over Bama, despite getting wrecked by a 7-5 Iowa team in November and squeaking out a win against this cornbread squad
