As a Pelicans fan I am SUPER excited about the draft.

Do the Suns go on the clock right at 6pm ct?
Posted on 6/20/18 at 11:13 pm to Mr. Elvert
They go on the clock the second the draft starts. Probably more like 6:10

Memphis is so fricking dumb if they do this omg
Ever since it’s been floated they were thinking of attaching the pick to Parsons to get rid of him and move down it just feels like they are going to do something really stupid

People seem to think Memphis is trading their pick sometime between now and the draft. I dont get it

Draft Express was reporting Denver is talking to Memphis about that #4 pick. Doncic/Jokic or a Jokic/JJJ frontcourt is fun.
Posted on 6/20/18 at 11:20 pm to jackwoods4
Doncic and Jokic would be incredible

Apparently they think with healthy Conley/Gasol and a few FA moves, they can push for 50 wins. In reality, they should just blow it all up and trade Conley/Gasol for more picks.

I feel bad for their fans if they punt on Doncic/Bamba/JJJ to try to win 50 games next season and lose in the first or second round. Hope is not a strategy
Posted on 6/20/18 at 11:28 pm to ShaneTheLegLechler
Yeah, you're counting on some older guys to not break down. Also, even if they don't break down, you're probably going to lose in 5 in the first round. They could take Doncic and probably pick up a mid first and future picks.

And even if that's true. They will have that team to win 50 games next year. They aren't winning the west no matter what. Just so stupid to try when they can make the playoffs while also grabbing a piece for the next run

Doncic slides in immediately. They could also take Bagley if they want someone to contribute right away. It's just dumb on every level.
