Wowsers, I know Robredo seems like an old man, but he is playing really well. I would throw some cheddar on him for the value.

I am pretty excited for Tsonga/Federer. Even though I am a bit of a Fedtard, I am kind of rooting for Tsonga because I think if he is hot and gets the crowd going, he might have a chance in the final. Federer really doesn't IMO.

Tsonga is up a set and a break on Federer. It would be nice to watch it online, but ESPN must not have the right to show it on ESPN3 until they pick up coverage later today.

I think this is Tsonga's match.

Poor Federer might not win a set at this rate.

I'd have to go back and look, but I'm pretty sure that's one of the only times in Fed's career (at least post-2003ish) that he's been straight setted in a slam. Rafa in that brutal FO final is the only other one I can think of at the moment.

Apparently I have a poor memory. This one seems like the worst though (excluding the one back in 04). At least the others were all to Djoker or Nadal

Rough go for Fed. He was looking so good through the first few rounds.

On the other hand, it is pretty cool that now either Ferrer or Tsonga will get a spot in the final. Both of them are guys who have been ranked 5-10 for years, but neither has ever won a major (I don't think Ferrer has even made a final). Of course it is looking like one of them would just play (and probably lose to) Djoker or Rafa, but who knows.

If Tsonga wins, the final is Sunday.

If Ferrer wins, the final is Friday.

It also depends on who Ferrer would play. If Ferrer plays Nadal he is toast, but I think he could give Djokovic a match. I believe Ferrer is 2-1 against Djokovic on clay.

Just finished watching the Federer match.

Wow, that has to be up there with the worst matches I've seen Roger play. He was just awful.

He hasn't looked very good these last few months.

He turns 32 in August. These things happen.

Either way, the final is on Friday

Tsonga has shown that he can compete with the big guys late in slams. At the very least, make it a very entertaining match. See Djoker RG quarter last year. See Federer 2011 Wimby quarter. See 2008 Aussie. Other matches as well.

All Ferrer has done is shown the ability to get to the second week with ease and presumably get his arse kicked.

Not to mention, Tsonga has the entire crowd on his side.
