Good game this afternoon between the Kings and Rangers. Great start for Buffalo. Not quite sure what happened with Boston last nite. After the first ten minutes they just looked completely dead. Yagr looked great

my guess is the 30 min. ceremony and skating around with cup before the game. that emotion could only carry them so far. then they went flat. 2nd period was even worse. they played much better in the 3rd but couldn't get the equalizer.

curious as to why NBC didn't even send an announce crew over to Rangers-Kings. Doc and Pierre calling the game from the new NBC/Versus studio. Pierre was kinda quiet throughout.
