I don't know why you and the other thunder guy are trying to act like he was completely fine. He fell directly on his elbow, spent the rest of the game flexing and holding it, had it wrapped in ice every time he was on the bench, and his touch on his shot was so cooked that he couldn't even make a free throw afterwards.

He was also wearing an ice pack wrapped around the elbow in the locker room post game, the nuggets listed him on the injury report with it, and Shams even reported his elbow was injured the next day.

If you think Nikola Jokic is the type to fake an injury then you clearly don't follow the NBA at all like you're accusing other people of.

It’s funny how y’all carry water for him and none of you are even Nuggets fans.

Where are you getting this? I'd be willing to bet that I've watched more Nuggets games over the past few years than you or the other guy have watched thunder games. I even own a piece of their championship court

Ok what are the numbers? You said far better. For some reason y’all can’t help yourselves and just be honest, you have to say things like Jokic is far better than everyone else in the NBA and he’s better than Shai by a mile. Too much hyperbole and that’s why people argue with you.

That’s great that it was magically better one day later. I’ve also posted two videos in this thread of him flopping and faking injury, he does it all the time.

The logical take here is that it was clearly bothering him and impacted his shot in the first game, but wasn't as sore or he had adapted to it by the second game. We have a ton of evidence that this Is the case unless you think he was just acting both during and after the game, and inexplicably couldn't even shoot free throws for some unrelated reason.

Not sure if you're really as dimwitted as your recent posts in here make you seem or if you're just a pathetically biased homer.

He does flop and fake injury a lot. We have video evidence of that.

Two clips over a six year span is "all the time" Meanwhile there are 5 minute long clips of Shai doing it just this season.

It's obvious you don't watch these games you're talking about.

So let me get this straight….

You think a guy who’s only playoff series win ever is against the pelicans…

Is better than the 3 time regular season MVP, finals MVP, Champion, who is currently having the best season of his career averaging a triple double, breaking the NBA record for PER that he already holds , and shoots a much higher percentage FG and 3PT?

Just bc the guy who beat the pelicans once scores a lot even though he’s not even as efficient of a scorer just bc he shoots more FTs and FGs?

Got it.

I already said Jokic is the better all around player. Y’all just make the gap seem way larger than it is and you get upset when people point that out.

I can say Jokic is better and y’all still act like crybabies because I didn’t say he’s miles better than Shai and better by far, etc. Then you have to resort to saying ridiculous things like Shai isn’t doing anything special and you can’t understand why he’s leading for MVP.

Perfect example, this was debunked days ago and you’re still saying it. Like you have a Jokic mind virus.

Actually, you claimed that anyone who disagreed with you doesn't watch basketball, when it's obvious you barely watch it at all.

Shai is probably going to win MVP and that's fine. It's a meaningless award and is usually wrong so it really doesn't matter. It's annoying when the Sha-stans just can't say, Shai should get MVP because he's the leading scorer on the best team in the west. Instead, they have to claim things that aren't true, like that Shai doesn't fail bait AT ALL, or he's more valuable to his team than Jovik, or this latest that Jovik is somehow just as much of a flopper and fail baiter than Shai. These aren't serious arguments.

Just go with why Shai should actually win it instead of denigrating other players or not admitting the obvious.

No I didn’t, I was responding to a poster who said Shai isn’t doing anything special. He obviously is or he wouldn’t be the heavy favorite to win MVP.

The rest of your post is more hyperbole and I’m not interested in rehashing it.

Nah, some of them are better but to say they’re far better is more hyperbole.

If y’all could just be honest and stop exaggerating so much then the Shai fans wouldn’t have to keep correcting you.

I mean you said it to me when I wasn't the one who said Shai isn't doing anything special, but if youre admitting you were wrong then fine.

If you are admitting the arguments against another player are hyperbole then we agree.

8 more rebounds and 4 more assists is far better.

There is no stat you can use this year to say he is better than Jokic.

Damn y’all just can’t help yourselves.

Without saying “voter fatigue,” can you think of any reason why Shai is the heavy favorite for MVP?

Has nothing to do with jokic vs shai

Where is the stat that says shai should get mvp over jokic?
