Nobody watches any of those except Miami (at times)

What would be the point or ROI of signing up players from schools that have little following?Who's lining up to get autographs from their players?

UGA is far more popular in metro Atl than GT.Hell, when AU was worth a shite, they probably had a bigger fan base than GT.

Same with Texas in Dallas

You actually think Rutgers,SMU and GT will "blow up?"

You honestly believe that companies/corporations are gonna spend on players that folks in either city barely recognize?

You might have a point if any of those schools were remotely popular or sold tickets.

I will say Tech and SMU players might get a NIL benefit because of their wealthy alumni base. SMU more so than GT.

Yes, they got a ton of money to go around
Example: Dallas can give money to SMU and UT

See! That’s what I’m saying!

Why, if nobody knows any of the players? Companies are just flush money down the toilet because they have it? Makes no sense

It's their best possible scenario but neither school will "blow up" because of it.

Aren't you the same guy who kept on insisting the NFL wouldn't sign a bigger TV contract because "If ya go woke ya go broke?" That was you wasn't it?

They’ve never had good teams. If they’re good people will know the players

Yea because they don’t do that now…

They still couldnt draw folks even when they had good teams.

Yea.I pretty much did.You made this
clueless statement:

quote:

College athletes use to be guaranteed a 4 year scholarship from the start but shark lawyers and dumbass media convinced them that one-year renewables were in their best interest

It's completely false and I provided a link and a specific quote when I replied. You then disappeared from the thread.

Do you have any grasp of reality?

Sorry forgot the comma.

Yet they still do.

I’m not sure what your talking about
But big cities will mean big dollars for other schools

No like Notre Dame being the national school
And NIL not helping schools in big cities

I said you were right on the TV contract thing. And I never commented about scholarships

I’ll give you one. New Orleans is a big-ish city. Who’s gonna do more NIL from New Orleans, Tulane, UNO, or LSU?

Not quite sure what you're trying to say about ND but you're clueless if you don't think they have a national following and your equally clueless if you think city schools like GT,SMU and Rutgers will "blow up" with NIL.Theres zero logic behind both of those opinions.

I was referring to the Real Carolina clown and I accidently replied to you about his completely inaccurate statement.

Now expand that to every city out there.

NIL overall will be a reflection of fan engagement and eyeballs. Those eyes on every program are what gives the athletes’ NIL value for the most part

You keep repeating but provide zero evidence. You have no evidence to back up your statement and it's completely false.

Undisputed fact: Four year guaranteed athletic scholarships with NCAA schools didn't assist til 2012 and athletic scholarships never started out that way and nobody sued anyone to turn them into one year contracts.

There's no way in hell Bear Bryant would give out a four year "guaranteed" scholarship. They were never in a coaches best interest.

Now,certain teams and coaches may make a verbal agreement with kids that they wont yank their scholarships but nothing "guaranteed" and nothing in writing...it woulda been against the rules.

Either link me your history or quit pulling "facts" out yer arse
