Just like Bama, their cross division rival, that they must play every year or the world will end, sucks arse and they avoided the other good teams, LSU, A&M from the West. Not surprised that Stanford has a better SOS.

What top 10 team did Oregon Beat? I'll wait on you to look it up. Now Notre Dame.... Ok and now K State...

Ok so just to be clear none of them have beaten a top 10 team glad we're on the same page.

ND has earned it, once again Bama has not.

Bama is way over rated though, UGA will likely beat them, Bama's secondary sucks they have been exposed for the frauds they are..

took longer than I thought for the Bama trolls to show up. Thanks for proving my point that SEC fans will use what ever standard boosts their case and will use arbitrary cutoffs like top 10.

I still don't understand the "backing in " statement. They have done what they needed to do. The Ducks and K-state lost at a bad time. Its the way it is. Ok how about this??? If LSU had only one loss should they be ahead of ND????

If Alabama wins out and beats Georgia in Atlanta I don't think ANYONE can talk about them backing into the BCS Championship Game. You were 10-2 in the regular season and ranked #7 in the BCS going into Championship Weekend back in '07. That is the very definition of "backing in". At least Alabama was #2 going into the final two weekends of the season last year.

Unless you think Kansas or Hawaii should have made it, everyone else of substance had 2 losses. Yes it was lucky and yes LSU back in, but it still happened only once. 2007 was one of the rare years, where they actually looked at the whole season and based the vote on merit and accomplishment, rather than "eyeball tests".

Bama has now needed just has much to go right outside of their control 2 years in a row. Post the Yeldon TD all you want, bring up 2007 all you want. You only do that because you can't deny you got lucky 2 years in a row.

losing to A&M at home is not what "they needed to do"

You speak as if we already have the national championship won. We still have to beat Auburn (more than likely will), a Top 5 Georgia team (no easy task), and then the #1 or #2 team in the nation in the BCS National Championship Game.

And I think this year makes us even since you guys had two losses in '07 and we only had 1 loss last year and this year.

Not winning your conference and playing in the title game is lucky, and this year a plethra of teams ahead of them lost again...

So yea there lucky...

Now, do they deserve to be there, probably, but the way they keep getting there is lucky

I'm rooting for Georgia to win it all. Alabama winning another NC would be awful. But, Notre Dame would be just as worse.

YES they were so-called lucky to get to the Title game last year. They should not have been there by virtue on not even winning their division. This year is different. AND IF LSU had beaten FLA and ND were to lose to USC EV ERY LSU fan would be saying that LSU deserves a shot at the title, EVEN without winning their own conference.
