a large part in this is that people change what he should have done based on what he did, to ensure he fails

LeBron guarded by 3 players, what should he do:

a. Shoot a contested shot
b. Pass to an open man
c. Doesn't matter hes LeChoke

1. Self absorbed, egotistical "enigma" who refused to play on team USA if another player was on it

Isaiah Thomas was a dick and that is well documented. Nobody else on Team USA wanted to play with him either so it wasn't just MJ.

You know as well as i do what separates say Tim Duncan from Karl Malone or Joe Montana from Dan Marino. Like it or not, that's how players are measured historically

This x10000

Karl Malone will never be talked about in the same light as Tim or Hakeem or any number of big men in that era that may or may not have been better than him. And it is simply because of his lack of jewelry.

and that is fricking stupid

so if tim duncan gets picked by the grizzlies and never sniffs a title, all of a sudden his amazing play is lessened?

Cool...has LeBron punched any of his team mates?

Has he raped anyone?

Has he ran off any players?

No.. he made a stupid mistake by broadcasting his "decision"..a mistake that garnered him no money, just a lot of hate.

Yeah, that probably wasnt the best example to use. Pretty much everyone in the league hated Isaiah's fricking guts. I don't think that many people really blame MJ too much for that.

sure, but you don't see lebron compared to aaron rodgers much, so i don't see how that matters

Steps to being a douche
1. Folding with the cavaliers
2. Creating your own team
3. Having the chosen one tattooed across your back
4. holding a stupid party to announce how you were going to win 8 national championships
5. His statement after the finals last year.
I am sorry but I am happy every time he and his team fails.

And if LeBron would refuse to play for team USA if Garnett(who is hated across the league) played on the team, he would be blasted for it.

Nope, he is too big of a pussy more than likely

Not that we are aware of

none yet, but give him a couple weeks and lets see how the fallout of these finals unfold.

He cemented himself onto the throne of the biggest douche canoe in the NBA. And that is NOT an easy title to attain. World Peace is still on a roster currently.

Yeah,he's not Jordan, and Garnett is nowhere near Isiah.Jordan made it impossible to criticize him by beating everyone's brains out

Exactly. If he acts like he is Jordan without the rings to back it up he is going to get blasted. This is why people hate him.

and i'm saying this argument shows how absurd using that standard is, when comparing players

Garnett is disliked, maybe hated, but not to the extent Thomas was. There were people on his own team that would have rather spit on him than pass him the ball if it wasnt their job to do so.

Haha so true.
If Lebron would do that no one would say anything bad about him. Hell Kobe started winning and shut up all the haters. If he only could have shut up one girl in Colorado his legacy would be better.

It was in Ok. City. The Heat were supposed to lose. I think the Heat showed they can play well there and when they look at the tape they will be kicking themselves. Lack of effort in the 3rd quarter and early 4th quarter is what killed them. They tried to rest on their lead, which is stupid. Bosh wasn't playing much vs Ind or Boston, this is a different Miami team. A better one. They will be tough to eliminate in 7 games.
