Northwestern St to Omaha?

By run ruling the #7 team, I think they have an inside track. Would be fun to see the demons take the title.

Northwestern St is about to kick a lot of arse on the road to a CWS title. So get ready Texas, Tennessee, Arkansas, Oregon St., FSU etc.

Gonna be hard to get to the NCAAs if they are forced to forfeit all but 2 of their conference wins for playing an ineligible player
If that punishment does come down... they'll immediately be eliminated from even playing in the Southland Conference Tournament b/c they won't be able to get back into the top 8 to qualify

College baseball is unpredictable...
Iowa beat #1 LSU a few years in an early season tournament.
Paul Skenes while at Air Force against gave up 8 1st inning runs against Iowa in an early season tournament. Skenes also hit a HR in the inning.
2 nights ago Big 10 standings leading Iowa lost to 12-27 Western Illinois in a mid week game.
