Snydergaard threw at escobar's head because his sensibilities were offended.

Huh? I thought he buzzed him because he was tired of seeing Escobar get first pitch hits.

And you were okay with that reasoning?

Be honest, did you even read this thoroughly before you hit enter?

No. I agreed with the other poster that it was dangerous.

No. I type blindfolded.

How were his sensibilities offended?

But for the sake of argument, the intent of the pitch is to not hit anything. The intent of the slide is to run full speed and jump into a player's knees.

You're splitting hairs here and you know it.

Both are frickin' dumb, dangerous and unnecessary.

All LSU fans please state your thoughts on the high and tight fastball for the record, please.

My thoughts are that John Cohen is a bitch.

If you're gonna throw at a guy keep it below the shoulders. If you have to hit someone, hit him in the arse. Going up around the neck will usually earn a response from the opposing team.

If you enjoyed Carson's preview, then you will love his podcast. His talks with Dayn Perry and Jeff Sullivan are hysterical.

I also miss Kiley McDaniel so much. I wish the Braves would fire him just so he could appear on Fangraphs audio.

I imagine I would, I just rarely, if ever, listen to podcasts. I'll have to check one out though.

I'm a big fan of Sullivan's articles as well.

The podcasts with Jeff Sullivan are off topic. If you want podcasts about baseball, then you want the ones with Dave Cameron.

I listen during my commute. I could not recommend them highly enough. The fantasy ones are good. Eno Sarris has some great insight on those.

I just listened to about 20 minutes of the one from today, "real estate power hour", in the car. Definitely was enjoying it.
