Plenty of game left Sandberg. Don't get too cocky after 1 inning. It was one hell of an inning though fwiw. I was really suprised not to see Mike Leach (sp?) pitch out of it. I'm assuming that is the first time he has ever been touched up. He looked rattled.

I know just asking. People on here think Texas is so shitty and overrated and i'm tired of hearing it. Funny how the last few years LSu hasn't beat them in any of the big 3 sports.

Sandberg, how do you feel about the kid coming in (Jungmen). I knock Army knicked him up some, but I remember him pitching great in game 3 against TCU.

Texas and LSU will never play a regular season game in football. Too many alumni would rather play Arkie, and I think both TX and LSU powers that be are afraid of the recruiting implications of a loss.

We have kicked your arse in recent years. Basketball in the Elite 8 in 2005
Baseball in 2009 (for the Championship)
We lost to Texas in the 2002 Cotton Bowl.
National Champs:
Football: LSU=2003,2007 Texas=2005
Baseball: LSU=2000,2009 Texas=2002,2005
Say what you want, but in terms of athletics (big 3 at least) LSU>Texas
