Can't wait until he turns into Bobby Bowden the last few years of that contract and starts going 8-5 or 7-6 every season.

And if he does, Bama fans rightfully still wouldn’t trade his coaching tenure for anything.

The last year coach Bryant coached at BAMA was 1982. He had his team as high as #2 in the land. He also beat then #3 Penn State 42-21 in B'ham. Penn State went on to win the national championship that year.
That team ended up 8-4, losing to LSU, Auburn, Tennessee, and So. Miss.

Southern Miss beat Alabama 38-29 IN TUSCALOOSA.

So how does that make coach Bryant Bobby Bowden? Or change a single word I said?

Just like Bowden and Paterno, Bryant coached longer than he should have. Bryant DIED a month after his last game.

Perhaps he is enjoying the rest of his life!

I bet all that are making fun of him and saying that he is going to decline would trade him for your head coach in a heartbeat minute

He already sold his soul to Satan, might as well cash in until he turns to dust.
