re: Nick Fairley...biggest bust from 2011 draft class?

Fairley was a monster in college but was always questioned for his effort. He was a risk based on that alone. When its time for a contract year - he'll probably lead the league in sacks, tfl, body slams, and face plants - just seems that way.

Offensive line has blown and there's no running game whatsoever
The second efforts of Pierre Thomas on runs are a great thing to watch.

He looks extremely slow to me.

Fairly was a beast. He was unstoppable. I didn't know who he was until Schtate played Cam and he blew up play after play. He has been a bigger bust than Ingram IMO.

yeah...he took a lot of plays off in 2009.

Since being drafted, he literally has been arrested as many times as he's sacked the QB

I think the guy just has problems with field vision.
His best runs are when he cuts back. Vision has always been strong part of his game. Nfl teams specialize so much now they have a different back for each down. Ingram has always been the type of back that gets better as the game goes. Between the other 2 backs and Drew as the qb he will never get his carries. But Ingram still hasn't taken advantage of his opportunities.

I hope he gets traded/released.
I think he can thrive in a different system

Jon Baldwin from the Chiefs. Although in fairness, his quarterback is Matt Cassel

Saints never leave running backs in long enough to find a rhythm. It's ridiculous. If you are a back who needs to get a feel for the game, you won't succeed there. You just have to be able to go in for one play out of 4 and go.

Ingram is avg. Worst Heisman ever. Richardson was better than him as a Freshman. Don't lie - you know this.

Although I want to believe Ingram is just in the wrong system.
Saints ranked 5th or 6th in rushing offense last year

He says Trent Richardson is more talented and seems to think this will get people bent out of shape. Ground breaking stuff there...

yeah its common knowledge now

Ingram is a bust.
He certainly is at this point for what the Saints paid. He hasn't been put in a position to succeed though.

Ingram and Richardson are every down type of backs. I watched the Browns the other day and TR was very rarely on the field on third down and he is the best player on that team. TR will get his chance of becoming an elite back but Ingram will not unless he gets out of NO.
