I wonder if that equated to $7 million?

I live in Hattiesburg, and have read the articles about the stadium, it was funded by private donations and by money from the Booster and TD club, and also funded by the City b/c it can and will be used by Pee week rec leagues for football and soccer.

FWIW My mom is a teacher here in Mississippi so I have a good idea about how funds are allocated. There are state and federal funds which are what teacher's salaries are paid with, and there is also a different type of fund that school districts have for building new schools, stadiums, gyms etc... There are also Bonds as well.

Has to be West Monroe's. Some schools in the state play in State/city owned stadiums that are bigger but they probably have the biggest owned by the school.

It's up there:

USA Today has listed West Monroe Rebel Stadium as one of the top 10 places in America to see a high school football game.

West Monroe averages 7,500 in attendance at all home games and usually brings about 2,000 fans to the road games.

I've been to WM once, the visitor side is not overly large but they have a big home side. It is a good place to see a game but I'll stick with Friday nights at Tiger Stadium (aka the Jungle) in beautiful Mozella.
