Flyers have completely taken over. Habs have mounted absolutely no offense.

Yeah, that's not going to cut it. It helps that the flyers are limiting their mistakes in their own zone...doing a better job of clearing the puck.

Would this series be any different if Boucher never got injured? I wonder......

Obviously, thre's no way to know. Just throwing it out there.

It'd be a lot different because it'd be Bruins/Habs IMO. Leighton has been nothing short of spectacular. He's about to post his 3rd shutout of the series, which will be more than any other goalie has in the entire playoffs.

The Ghost of Lindbergh is guiding Leighton.

Well Habbys nice little run you put together, you knocked off defending Stanley Cup Champions and Washington arguably the best team in the NHL during the regular season...prepare the way for christs' return cause I think Chicago might win a Cup for the first time since 1961.

I would like to give leighton some credit but I can't. My dead grandmother could have played goal for Philly today and won. We didn't get any pressure on the net at all. Zero. Nothing. Nada. We did all these things last game and won big. SO why not this game Jacques??? If it is not broke why fix it?? Jacques you got out coached by trashy LaTOILETTE (yeah he is a turd and has been since he was with carolina).

We also got outplayed. No adjustments, no sticking with what worked last game. can you at least try to see if the flyers could stop what we did last game before reverting back to crap hockey like the first two games playing that peripheral BS?? Where was the net crashing?? the trailers to finish rebounds??? Hell, where the frick was the SOG in the second period??? I could have had more SOG by myself than the whole damn team! I will give credit to philly's D no doubt about it! but we did not even try to do what worked last game. unfrickingbelievable. and to top it off we got shutout by a fricking BUM for the 3rd damn time. A MOTHER frickING BUM! Leighton makes Andre "red light" Racicot look like a Vezina winner. Dude gives up rebounds worse than Tom Barasso. he is a bum. which makes us look even worse...

Credit to the Philly defense, yes. Credit to the Flyers for outskating us to every single loose puck all day, yes. They could have played without a goalie today and won. That is how bad we were outplayed today. AGAIn though, could we at least lose trying to do what worked last game?? then if that does not work make adjustments??or at least fricking try??? nah, that makes too much fricking sense right jacques?????

I hope Pierre Gauthier was taking notes on who showed up and who did not.. we cannot rely on cammy, gio, and the third line of lappy and moore to do all the scoring.. where the frick were you pleks?? AK?? Pouliot??? I hope all of you are shipped out of here ASAP! Turn in your CH jersey and get the frick off my team you sorry pieces of shite! you 3 have been virtually NON-EXISTENT since the first series. among many other driftwood we need to purge. Need to cut hammer and MAB on defense.

I could handle losing to the caps or pens , two very very good teams , but not to these goons and that bum goalie they have. maybe we are worn out,and tired, but excuses are not accepted

you clearly do not know JACK frickING shite ABOUT HOCKEY THEN!

You can partially thank the FLYERS D for allowing leighton to sit back and eat lunch and have a beer every game except the 3rd. I will give them that, but you also need to thank Jacques Martin. FOR OBVIOUS REASONS. read my post above. it spells it out!

and thank you fat bastard for that extremely biased analysis....i think someone is a little bitter they are losing to the clearly better team in this series........we clearly don't deserve any credit for winning our 3 games combined 12-0 and overall 13-5....and we definitely don't deserve any credit for destroying jersey in the first round and coming back down 3 on 2 occasions in the second round.....we should be getting our arse kicked right now by the evidently much better habs sqaud out there...........canadians....................

Still seems odd to me that a Habs "fan" would be so down on his own team considering what they've already accomplished. That same moronic coach got them through the NHL's best regular season team and defending Stanley Cup champs. And they were even down by the same margin 3-1 against Washington (and 3-2 to the Pens). They've proven to be quite resilient. But it's obvious that facts need not get in the way based on previous responses.

And FYI, Leighton was 16-5 with a .918 save % for the Flyers during the regular season and he's at .951 for the playoffs. But yeah, he's obviously a bum and deserves no credit whatsoever.

Losing to the 18th place team in the league after beating the Capitals and the Penguins is still tough to swallow. It's not about losing it's how we lost. Nobody had the will to go to the net? There simply was no compete and it's not acceptable at home in a Conference final.

Sure it would hurt if we had lost in overtime, or if the score was 3-2 and we fired a ton of shots and competed but it would be more acceptable than to hand them a game on a platter in our building. We could hold our head up high and say it could have went either way. We didn't get the breaks. We got stoned by their goalie. But simply none of the above apply. We didn't get stoned as the guy only saw a handful of shots (PAY CLOSE ATTENTION dnswr). Anyone could have had a shutout yesterday. The three losses we don't score one goal? Is Pronger that good? I don't think so.

Cammalleri can not do it all. Neither can Gionta. We needed /need scoring from Andre Kostitskin, the guy we drafted ahead of CARTER, RICHARDS, Parise, Getzlaf. You know that game breaker? What the 4th overall pick we got for latendresse, mr. Poulliot? Where is he? A french canadien playing at home in the spot light, where is his compete?

There are many guys on this team I would not question. Cammalleri, Gionta, Gomez, Lapierre, Moore, Pyatt, but I do question the work ethic of the Kostitskin brothers, plekanec,Metroplolit can be much better(probably playing hurt), Moen is up and down, we need more big hits from him on their big players. Richards , Gagne, Briere are out their floating around. Richards is a predatator looking always for the opportunity to destroy somebody. Oh how I wish we had gotten him in the draft. he's a complete package.

On defense, I could not have asked for any more from Hal Gill who guts and determination were an inspiration for everyone else. Georges played very big as did Spacek. O'Byrne is still learning while Subban is a great player already.

Halak has/is outstanding while I appreciate Price being a team player down the stretch. That was good to see. Maturity maybe setting in for him and that will make him all the better.

So what's left for Monday. All I ask is to go out and leave it all on the ice. Play hard and compete. "And (like the lines from Rocky) if we lose? Then we lose with dignity and we lose knowing we gave it everything we had" Don't make this a what if situation.

EDIT: my bad, i definitely WOULD question plekanec, he was MIA since game 4 of the first series. my bad for putting in the good group by accident! LOL!
