I was bitching about the opening drive to my dad before it even started. I’ve reached my peak.

After spending a good chunk of the day bumping around various team forums and message boards I've narrowed my delusional internet football fans of the week down to the guy on Football's Future site who says Mahomes needs to throw for over 60 TDs to have a great season and the various Jets fans who think they need a miracle to get the first overall pick.

Chiefs lost this game in my book. Pathetic performance.

Sick of this same old story of letting teams hang in until the last 30 seconds. They are way better than that.

I'm both a half full glass and half empty glass guy here.

You become a good team by winning close games. Generally speaking you don't have blow out games that often in the NFL and if you are going to win in the playoffs you have to know how to win close games. The Chiefs know how to do this and they have confidence that if the situation arises they are going to.

However, they are also like a cat that catches a mouse and then plays with it instead of killing it. Every so often the mouse is going to get away. You just hope it doesn't escape in January or February.

The best way to score 27 straight points against the Chiefs is to let them score 28 straight points against you first. The best way to get the Chiefs to score 28 straight points against you is for you to score 24 straight points against them first. This is a weird team. The further behind they are the better they play. The further ahead they are the worse they play.
