You all are arguing with one of the worst posters on this site.

He has one schtick which constantly revolves around any sport or event leaving New Orleans or Louisiana.

Hes banned from saints talk and I believe Pels talk. Should be banned from all boards honestly.

2031 is awfully quick for New Orleans to get another Super Bowl these days with all the competition and new stadiums out there

And as far as Mardi Gras goes the economic impact of a Super Bowl is worth way more to the city then freaking Mardi Gras

He's such a weirdo.

A very oddly specific troll

Where did you hear this?

NOLA gets a lot of visiting fans because of the tourism destination aspect to go along with catching the actual game. NOLA has had a lot of local 49er fans dating back to the 80’s and 90’s when the Saints were generally terrible and kids grew up watching Montana and Young winning Super Bowls. And there was a big LSU home game on Saturday night, which probably led to more people who have tickets to both putting their Saints tickets up for sale because it was going to be a late night getting home from the LSU game

NOLA should be on a permanent rotation.

Every 5 years minimum.

Economic impact of Mardi Gras is roughly $900mm. Economic impact of last super bowl, which was one of the most statistically successful super bowls of all time, was roughly $1.2B.

So no, the city is not fricking up it's mardi gras schedule to cut out $900mm.

Everything has played out with Gayle exactly as I have foreseen.

Both franchises have rosters at or near dead last in their leagues.

Opposing fans have overtaken our stadiums which will cause another mass non-renewals in season tickets for 2026. Tickets will escalate up 10% and brokers get the big discount so you get to sit with opposition fans.

Bags and Boos are everywhere.

Dumars and Loomis are the epitome of incompetence, making reckless deals almost daily in acts of desperation.

Players are uninspired, out of shape, injured and generally don’t want to live in this shithole.

Sell and move the teams so we aren’t paying exorbitant salaries to the worthless non-profits in the region who’ll have nothing to do once the teams are long gone.

Elect more woke officials that will make Teedy look MAGA.

The same points you mentioned apply to the Panthers under arrogant moron David Tepper, with the exception of Charlotte being a shithole (it's more so on the boring side for a rich 20-something black male AKA the majority of NFL players).

Panthers and Saints are classic examples of how to screw up sports franchises.
