And we know what the Heat are. They've been dominating all season.

Yes they are great, but they have only been dominating for about 2/3 or so of this season so far.

That large? Melo with the Nuggets the last few years wasn't even a top 15 player.

He's a great player. It's been a hard adjustment for him not to be "the guy." But he's still averaging 18/8. Not superstar numbers, but still good.

AND NBA before AS Break means jack squat. Heat will be emotionally demoralized in 6 weeks. Book it Dano

The big men might have something to say about how the playoffs go. I don't think it's a forgone conclusion that any team will dominate another in the playoffs.

maybe not THAT large but i needed the visual to make my point

im tellin you, i've seen a different side of melo since the trade. he could always score at will, but he just seemed indifferent about the whole thing

now he's asking to guard lebron down the stretch and saying all the right things after. i think he understands where he is at in his career and its time to start thinking about winning and his legacy

i think the denver melo and the knicks melo are gonna end up being two different competitors

I'm expecting this to be the case. But he has to go out there and do it. He was very overrated while in Denver.

If the Heat get the 1 (which I think they will), they'll be in good shape. They match-up great with Orlando, despite Howard down low.

Conference finals against Boston/Chicago could be interesting. But I don't expect the Heat to win the east, so I think they would lose that series.

Knicks should lose in the 1st round, unless they can somehow snag the 5.

well he did all the right things tonight

i understand you being skeptical considering the actors, but if the knicks play like they did tonight, i think they are legit contender in the east

cant overestimate what chauncey brings as a leader, either

And if they play like they did against the Cavs?

This was one game. Granted, they have a lot of time to play together. The Knicks have 3 players. I would say that the supporting cast around the Heat's big 3 is even better than the one around New York's, especially when Haslem gets back. Plus, the Heat play better D.

And the Bulls and Celtics just have too many players and play too good of defense for the Knicks to even think about beating.

Where are you expecting the Knicks to finish? I won't say that they should lose. I think they could, but I wouldn't say should.

id venture to say their collective concentration level was a little higher tonight than in cleveland

which is more indicative to what it will be like come playoff time

if they play like they did tonight in the playoffs, theyll be a tough out

Knicks = 1st round exit if they play the Bulls

No team led by Amar'''''''''e and Melo will ever win anything of consequence in this league.

Celtics/Mavs will be an epic Finals
