I think the issue is that he said he was going to end his career

None. Reports say they threatened his career, called him gay slurs, and/or called him a woman.
Regardless of what was said, Beckham did more harm to his image and career than anyone on the Panthers.
Shannon Sharpe was on the radio yesterday and said he always tells young players that, rightly or wrongly, they'll often be remembered for their worst moments, and he is right. Beckham will be under a microscope from here on out. If he pulls a stunt like he did against the Bills earlier this year, it won't go under the radar again.

I also laugh at people taking the bait of NYG's excuse of Beckham fearing for his safety with the bat incident. Yea, he was so frightful that the guy would hit him with the bat that he walked up to the guy and took off his helmet!!!

2015 season was just played so there is that, I do not care how they missed titled the Championship of 2014.
It further shows the nonsense of stretching out the bowl season.

Do all of you not remember Reggie Bush with a bat on the field during the playoffs when the Saints won the Super Bowl?
This isn't the first team to use a bat for intimidation or to excite players.

When did Reggie approach a player with the bat? He led the team out with it over his head
How was that used for intimidation?

Do you remember him going up to opposing players with it and there being reports that he was going to end someone's career? Do you also remember it being done during warm ups and not when they were being introduced coming out of the tunnel?
Yea, I don't remember any of that either.

When did Reggie approach a player with the bat?
Beckham never feare for his safety, and if he did, he chose to take actions that completely contradicted being scared of being hit with a bat, so it doesn't add up.

This is so stupid, the player that has the Bat didn't even dress for the game. So why is OBJ fighting the wrong person????? Dude sounds so dumb, and he gave everyone the playbook on how to beat him. Didn't think OBJ was that stupid but i'm proven wrong every day.

look at Norman with this weapon in his hand threatening opposing players!!!!!!!!! What if he swung it at them OMG the horror

There's a ton of idiocy you guys are spewing about this story. Kind of obvious what your agendas are from the get go vilifying Odell Beckham. Its really quite sad many of you are out to attack your own kind and those that have LSU Connections. Odell Beckham is nothing short of an outstanding ambassador for our university, is reaching feats that none of us dreamed are possible and on top of that, he's a unique person that appears to stay true to himself as a person and player. He plays with all of his talent given and leaves everything on the field. The faux outrage is ridiculous and shameful.
