Alyson was offered the LSU job when Patrick Murphy backed out after his press conference. Alyson was coming with him but she also decided to go back to Alabama with Murphy.

And if I remember the story correctly she was the one that first brought up to Murphy "This doesn't feel right does it?" which lead to his phone call to Mal Moore saying he had made a mistake and wanted to come back to Alabama.

She's nice looking but let's not get carried away.

There is a resemblance, especially if you look at their older selves. Habetz is 52; you can’t compare her today to the “Friends” version of Cox.

ossibly...but why has she never been a head coach before?

Because she had a good job at Bama and she was really close to getting her Alabama State Pension when she was offered the ULL job last time

Plus I don't she think ever wanted to get leave the south

Yes, all those reasons and more. Taking a new coaching job is a hugely personal decision and has NUMEROUS different factors for the person to consider.

A great player and person. She was also a very good basketball player for the Cajuns.

Yes, I believe she could see how he was struggling with his decision. I believe it had a lot to do with the players they had that they were leaving. If I am not mistaken, they won the championship that same year, beating Oklahoma.
