How many Shazier-type injuries do we see a year? Less than one.

Also head injuries are way overblown in football: before they introduced their silly protocol guys could come back from concussions in the same game.

Don't give me the CTE crap either, because the research is ambiguous and either way it's irrelevant because it rarely affects current players.

The most damaging injuries to pro football players continue to be knee ligament tears - these new rules are trying to fix a problem that doesn't really exist.

Serious question: have you ever had a concussion? Let’s not get lost in hyperbole here.. head injuries are serious, and fairly common in the NFL.

I feel like the NFL is going about the ‘cover our arse because of head injuries’ shite.. I wish they would consider making everyone sign a waiver instead of slowly but surely killing the game via new rules

Tom Brady’s going to get sacked every play, on purpose, so NE can march down the field to TDs via penalties all game.

128 points in a single game and never throws the ball. BOOK IT!

Yes, and it was scary. I had vertigo for a few hours and would throw up if I tried to move.

But it subsided and I could have done any physical activity within a couple of days. Unlike a torn ACL which shelves you for a year.

I don't understand why the NFL just doesn't require players to sign a shite ton of waivers saying they accept the risk of all injuries, including head injuries and CTE, and just play the way they always have.

You’re talking about a commissioner too stupid to say “we’re adopting the same national anthem policy the NBA has used since 1998”.

Absolutely no way to make a full speed head on tackle without your head at least appearing to be led with.

I believe Marcus Williams was already (Unsuccessfully) trying to master that technique last season.
