Naaaa, Tulane and James Madison especially shouldn't be in if you want the twelve best teams.

Is this really that different from the NFL wildcard? Only 11 wildcard teams have ever made it to the Super Bowl. This game is basically the 4/5 game in the NFL. College football fans are just very conditioned to only see the absolute best of the best have a chance at the national championship.
