I just found out longtime Big 8/Big 12 play by play Dave Armstrong (very good) has the kansas telecast alongside Scot Pollard and Rob Riggle (WTF?). I haven’t heard of the rest of the team broadcasts. Hopefully, Webber is on the Michigan team broadcast. Nantz fricking sucks, so I need another feed to listen to. Does Harlan do the Westwood One call anymore?

Does Michigan or Villanova have any future NBA players? Any chance Wagner gets drafted?

Harlan probably will or they will use John Thompson pairing. John Thompson actually is pretty good when he figures out what the teams are trying to do. He is very good at breaking it down in the moment.

I also like Thompson. I remember listening to Harlan and Thompson do the 2003 title game on Westwood One back since I just moved and didn’t have my apartment set up yet. I wonder if our radio affiliates here have the Westwood One feed. I sure have listened to a shitload of games on Westwood One on radio over the years.

Yes, but there’s a delay. I still might listen to it if Harlan is on. I did use Tune In app for the Duke game on Sunday when I didn’t want to fall asleep listening to Nantz again. I like listening to Loyala Chicago’s ex players from their great teams on TBS now.

Matt Park and Sanjay Gupta doing to Michigan team telecast. I was really hoping Webber would do it.

The Big East of the mid 80’s early 90’s had some great coaches

Pitino
Thompson
PJ
Rollie
Calhoun
Boehiem
Williams/O’Brien
Carnasecca

Pitt had worst coaches but won the league at times then

I wasn’t big fan of Pearl Washington. I liked Sherman Douglas better. Stevie Thompson could fly just not shoot FT

Pearl always tucked his jersey through his jock I never understood that one
