Hey, I thought Tenners would work them inside. I’m wrong and own up to it

You should know to never trust a Rick Barnes team

Nah. You could tell from Kentucky’s player interviews that they had heard it. Kind of dumb to give a young team focus when they have shown tendencies to not be.

Sure they heard it but once you get to the game it doesn’t do anything. If you’re needing that to get your attention to play then you aren’t that good. It’s good for fans to talk about, but doesn’t motivate a team.

I completely disagree. This is the most motivated Hami has played all season and if you got back to his big dunk it’s pretty clear it was part of the motivation.
ETA: Nice edit.

you obviously never played sports before

I’d also point back to what happened when West Virginia talked shite before the Kentucky game in the tournament a couple years ago.

Edit? Yes I edited to describe how stupid it is to claim bulletin board material helps

Yes I did and worked in college and pro sports. How about you?

Nice oop from the Vols. Looks like they are about to scrape back.

And I worked in college. Also played through HS. I completely disagree with you from both aspects.

That was a bad possession for Loyola

Then you know once a game starts a bulletin board means nothing. It grabs your attention but it doesn’t do anything for you once the game starts.

I completely disagree. Guys know when guys have talked shite. We’ve seen guys on the college and pro level take it personally and kicked their game up a notch as a result.
It was functionally retarded for Buffalo to talk shite.

The big man for Loyola has really nice court awareness.

I played football trough college. Bulletin board material was a big deal when I played. A motivational tactic that worked extremely well at every level I played at

If you need bulletin board material to get motivated for a championship then your team wasn’t close. Your coaches did a bad job also of doing their jobs.
