Ironically, I quit watching MLB after HR derby years of the 90s with Sosa, MM, BB, etc. When MLB became about who could spend the most, it got boring really quickly. Now it is that on steroids, sprinkled with the one of the top players knowingly gambling now, but was allowed to get away with it.

Obviously not.

Bets were down in other states that allow it.
Sorry if I wasn't clear - they were throwing games and getting action on those thrown games.

It's possible that player props were a part of it, but most of the docs I've seen indicate it was mainly throwing full game.
