these bubble games have lost some of their luster to me. Hard to be as excited about it as I would like to be considering whoever ends up winning out of these sqauds will be one of the weakest squads to win a title in my lifetime. I can put them over last year raptors and the cavs who beat the warriors and maybe those spurs 99/03, etc but that’s it.

That's usually how it goes when the team you root for gets rolled.

sure, it would be. But that doesn’t make this team better than other title winners. Just like the giants sqaud who beat the pats was one of the worst SB winning teams, even Though they beat the undefeated patriots.

greatest title is very different from ranking title winners.

The cavs win over the warriors is seen as One of the greatest titles by those who completely disregard the circumstances but no one is saying that is one of the best teams ever.

My goodness at the silly arguments Boom has been to reduced to this tourney. Just an awful awful look for a former elite basketball mind imo

Because it is. LeBron broke a 73 win team so bad that Draymond called KD in the parking lot after the game lol.

This will be a hard game for the Lakers.

Denver knows this is their season. They can’t go down 3-0. The have not yet had to win against a Lebron monster game yet and down 3-0 Lebron would go for the throat and eliminate the Nuggets.

Davis is beginning to become more assertive. He and Lebron are figuring out which times they need to be aggressive in a score first mode and when they need to look to defer to the other. Game two was a perfect example of Lebron going off in the first half and Davis controlling the game after half.

No it’s not. It was a 5 games easy series win for GOAT before the BS suspension. Then bogut got hurt, iggy got hurt, steph was hurt the whole time. The team CLE beat was a far far cry from the team that won 73. They were actually having to play varejao in the 2nd half of game 7. Yea the same varejao who wasn’t even worth a roster spot on Cleveland and never played another meaningful minute in the nba after that series.

That full strength Golden State team needed 6 games to beat the Cavs the year before when Delly was the second best player behind LeBron.

Golden State Warriors small forward Kevin Durant said Dubs teammate Draymond Green didn't call him immediately following the team's Game 7 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals last year, a claim made by the defensive stalwart last week. Green told Zach Lowe of ESPN.com he called Durant from the parking lot after the defeat completed a stunning collapse from a 3-1 series lead. The former Oklahoma City Thunder star, who signed with Golden State a couple of weeks later, denied that conversation took place, per NBA TV:

Never happened.

I love that in a he said/he said debate, you simply just state that one person is wrong and never assume that the guy who had to create fake Twitter accounts to defend himself could be lying.

Denver did a good job creating mismatches in the 2nd half. Lakers have to do a better job switching and rotating in transition.

Offense got too lethargic in the 2nd half as well.

I suspect Denver will come out on fire to start the game. They fully believe they can hang and if they make the series 2-1 it will put some pressure on the Lakers.

Lakers must start off quick and put the doubt back in Denver’s head.

Need much better play from Kuzma tonight
