so what happens after 2pm?

I do believe teams are allowed to continue talking to eachother if they ask the comissioner's office first.

The Indiana Pacers were in talks to send T.J. Ford and Brandon Rush to the Charlotte Bobcats in exchange for D.J. Augustin, Gerald Henderson and Nazr Mohammed, a source close to the talks told ESPN.com. However, those talks fell apart in the last hour of the trade deadline, sources told ESPN.com.

The Bobcats, who are making a strong push for the playoffs, felt like Ford would be an upgrade in their backcourt. Ford, who has fallen out of the starting lineup in Indiana, also would've provided insurance for the Bobcats with starting point guard, Raymond Felton, being an unrestricted free agent this summer.

It's unclear why the deal fell apart.

It's impossible for them to completely whiff. They'll sign two big fish. They've been setting up for this offseason since 07. As mentioned before, there worst case pickup will be Joe Johnson.

IMO, they definately land Bosh, resign Lee, and either get Wade or Lebron.

I don't think they'll get Wade or LeBron.

I think both of those stay home. Johnson to NY would be a step back from his current situation, and he doesn't change a team like LJ or DW. Bosh and Johnson would be impressive, but I think that's their only shot.

me either. I think they miss on Bosh as well. I dont think the Hawks let Johnson go, theyre building something in Atlanta. I can see them over paying for Rudy Gay (have to to get him out of Memphis) and maybe getting another piece to go with him.

Not only can both of their current teams offer more money, but they can offer better supporting casts. The Cavs now with Jamison and their depth can win a championship. The Heat have enough cap space to sign Bosh or Amare (probably Amare), and they have some decent peices - Chalmers, Haslem and Beasley.

Ever since Tyrus has stepped foot on an NBA court there have been trade rumors. It's about damn time something actually happened.

You should've posted that T-Mac was flying to Chicago on here, or better ClutchFans, to see how Rockets fans would react to getting Tyrus Thomas and John Salmons.
