Meh. Pels shooting coach is known league wide for his ability to turn players into solid shooters.

Ok. Even he would say he hasn’t spent enough time to significantly effect change.

Bye, who are his accomplishments? Kenrich? Solomon?

If we are giving credit for BI, then surely he takes the blame for Lonzo decling in fg percentage.

Surely a great shooting coach would have Hart back his rookie year numbers.

Why is Jackson down?

Two years w Kenrich and his numbers are down.

Mirotic numbers went down w Pels.

Surely this is his fault.

I don’t believe any of this. But it is fun to only look at winners, right?

No one trades an unprotected current year pick these days.

The question is the level of protection on it.

Only report I see so far is “2021 protected first”.

No helping Kenny. He’s not worth a single Twix bar.

Ramona Shelburne @ramonashelburne Following up on Lakers-NYK talks. It wasn’t just Kyle Kuzma LA didn’t want to include in a deal for Marcus Morris. The Knicks also wanted Danny Green (to make the $ work) and future second round picks, per sources. Lakers decided that was too steep and walked away late.

Yeah frick that

He is the exact type of player that should be an example of his coaching skill.

Some players are just downright bad, that's fact. Kenrich could have the best coaching staff ever and that won't fix a dleague caliber player.

as for lonzo:
FG% is down, sure

Look at it deeper:
his 3pt% is up, and he takes more of them
his <3 ft is up and his 10-16 ft is up
his 3-10ft and midrange 16-<3ft is down
his ft% is also up

So in terms of his TS%, it is...up

Hart's interesting in that its better than his sophomore year, but his rookie year was insane how good he was when it came to the 3 ball. His FT% is a career high as well.

This can be argued all day. I'll take the word of the players who have applauded his efforts in helping them work on their shot.

Wrong.

And his numbers shouldn’t get worse. Which they have.

as for lonzo:

It’s WAY to early to talk about anything. He was bad to start the season. He is playing well. Another 2 weeks and he could be slumping.

Not really.

There are wins and losses. Just funny how his coaching seems to benefit the most talented. Lol

SDV, I've gone a bone to pick with you because of your damn team

The Mavs were one of the final two for Danny Green in the offseason and would've had him had Kawhi gone to the Lakers. We know how that story went, and Green is with the Lakers.

If Morris had been traded to the Lakers, the Mavs would've gotten Green as part of a three-way deal. Instead, the Clippers got in the way once again

Believe me the Mavs make me nervous when healthy. If you had Green or Morris it would be worse

As do the Rockets

LAs B team is a non factor
