NBA regular season really needs to be shortened

Basketball is fun to watch when they actually play defense.

Owners won’t do it because more games is more money and the union preferred to eliminate practice time instead of games.

I agree with you but when was the last time a major sports league shortened their season?

I think the answer is never. Not once.

Every league and sport has only ever expanded.

…because less money for the owners means less money for the players

Neither side is going to want less games

Here comes the generational arguments, congrats on starting that.

Appreciate getting to play ball for a living is the general public opinion, which doesnt play ball for a living. 15 players can be on a team at once, with a group in g league. If your players dont play for you, that means your organization isnt trust worthy, IMO.

So i disagree with you. There is no defense and organization\players\agent companies have pushed the dollar per game value. I dont see why an all star\superstar cant play 62 games a year if healthy.

This is a different league right now with the amount of physicality. I love it. Officiate games like this in the regular season too.
