I’m rooting for OKC. Refs are awful

People be mad at SGA but at least he’s a good dad, married, never in trouble and has his son in a USA shirt.

This is a horrible look for Vickie. He was holding a sermon on the sideline on the verge of tears trying to be the leader of this team, then he shies away from the media after a stinker. Instructing the goons to take out McCain is so slimy too.
When you add in his flopping, throwing his head back when he doesn't even get touched, I don't see how a casual fan likes this guy. Must just be OKC hate, that's all I can think of.

In summary. Seems like last night was intended to go okc way in order to have a game 7
Same will happen in game 6 for spurs

How about Wenby. Press stayed and he left. For someone who claimed he was MVP its not a good look.
Eventually people will turn on him too, like they do all great players

Spurs were in on it too. That's why they only let Wemby get 6 rebounds and let Chet and Hartenstein get 11 and 15.

Not so much. Wemby choice of staying on the perimeter was moreso the reason why.
High pick, roll to perimeter and guard drives with option to corner kick. If 3PM then you obv can’t Reb, if layup made then obv you can’t rebound. Wemby also did not even go to the paint in order to get back.

Updated FT tracker
Game 1: Spurs +10 (Spurs win)
Game 2: OKC +7 (OKC win)
Game 3: even (OKC win)
Game 4: Spurs +14 (Spurs win)
Game 5: OKC +6 (OKC win
SAS still +11
See, this is something SAS need to learn. Stop complaining about refs. Show up to your presser like a man. Stop trying to injure McCain at end of game scrub time.
You never see OKC players complain about refs in any post game or other interview. Rarely in the game. SA will need to grow up and just play instead of excuses.

lol you like the click bait.
Duke on Duke crime was committed right? Omg
lol no, it was just heightened because ppl don’t get up off the ground and just play
Be dramatic, paint nails and smile

Spurs/Thunder might be the most interesting chess match between two coaching staffs in NBA history.
The constant battle between the Spurs trying to keep Wemby at the basket, and the Thunder adjusting their spacing in each game to get him out.
The Spurs trying to keep Shai away from the middle of the floor and out of the paint completely, while the Thunder change screening angles, floor alignments, etc. to get him space to operate.
Then in Game 4, the Spurs going away from doubles, and the Thunder finding a way to consistently force 2 on the ball in Game 5.
On the other side, the Spurs trying to get Wemby free in the paint on offense, and the Thunder doing everything in their power to push him to the perimeter.
Every game of this series has looked completely different. It’s been a masterclass for anyone who cares about more than “falling” and ref discourse.
Daignault also managed to get Chet and Hart non Wemby minutes twice last night and they went so well Mitch had to check Wemby back in quicker than he wanted

The adjustments the players have made for themselves are amazing also, Stephon Castle after game 3 hasn’t turned over the ball he’s been super calm against Wallace & Caruso now we’re seeing Harper not do well with the pressure
Jared McCain Game 4 very tough position to be in because now San Antonio could put one of their best defenders on you without Williams or Mitchell on the floor, he didn’t expect that but Game 5 he looked extremely comfortable penetrating

First half in Game 5 they gave SGA the deterred help look, constantly stunting making him think it’s isolation but instead of showing it late once he enters the paint (above the FT line) like they did in game 4 they instead show it super earlier. Spurs really did good in the 1st Q stunting getting back to their man + the close outs were phenomenal
In the 2nd half, they played SGA more isolation forcing him to shoot since he wasn’t hitting, they stayed home on shooters but OKC worked themselves inside/out still. Honestly surprises me they didn’t even get the lead down to 5, they couldn’t constantly score on OKC’s defense
Spurs have so many different bodies that 6’6+ this type of length is insane, never seen positional players like this
Epic 4Q coaching battle. We saw Hartenstein play QB at the top of the key to space the floor, letting Chet operate & pulling rim-protectors like Kornet & Wemby out. Or Shai diving deep corner for a Vic blitz as a second defender to open Chet at the top of the key for a free look.
Also not lost is OKC injuries to 2 key players and adjustments made by Mark

The Plumlee one? OKC player tried to draw a foul, he succeeded.

Just imagine…
The Thunder are getting blown out in Game 5 of a 2-2 series, and Shai, (who in the previous series threw a vicious elbow and didn’t even get fined for it), whispers something to Dort and JWill, and they proceed to check in and throw two cheap shots on a key player in garbage time.
Now imagine Shai skipping media availability after the biggest loss of the season.
What would the discourse be?
There’s a double standard with Wemby!

Not the first time a Frenchman retreated and let someone else do the dirty work for him
