Klay plays defense, Waiters doesn't.

They are gonna have to rig the fan vote to keep Lin from starting in the All-Star game if he has a halfway decent season as a Laker

Really hope Lakers get more than a first round draft pick to go with Lin...especially how much this helps a conference foe get better

Poor Kobe, at least he's getting paid.

That awful contract is the reason the Lakers are in their current state.

I fully believe we are watching the Lakers turn into the Knicks. Clown show.

Rockets have dealt Jeremy Lin and a future first-rounder to Lakers, sources told ESPN. Houston clearing space to land Bosh, keep Parsons.

If this keeps up, you could be right :(

We need to go hard after Stephenson now. Get some young talent on this team so when 2016 rolls around, we look attractive to Durant imo.

No kidding. According to Zach Lowe, word was that they went into this summer thinking they had a chance at both Melo and LeBron, and they weren't ever in the running for either.

Honestly, I'm not normally a Kobe basher, but who would want to go play with him? He'd make it 30 games before going Mamba and making everyone miserable.

Besides drafting Randle. I can't think of one thing that has happened with LA where I've been like "yeah that was a very smart move"

Not really, pretty good chance they would have come up empty on Lebron/Melo regardless

Whoa the Rockets.

Howard - Bosh - Parsons - Harden - Beverley. That's a crazy good team there.

Just one source? Damn, Broussard is slipping. At least his source "confirned" it.

Nice. In my opinion, retaining Parsons was a more important move than signing Bosh. Kudos to them for making both happen.

Lin expires next year. They weren't going to be good anyway. They are one of the few teams that can pay him without being hurt. Why not get a first round pick?

Really it's not a bad move at all by them.

You're absolutely right. I hate to bring it up again, but the front office has been a complete mess ever since Basketball Reasons. It's amazing how 1 vetoed trade has thrown this team so far off the tracks.

Who are the free agents in the so called stacked 15 market?

Rose?
