Did you consider the entire landscape of the NBA will look different next year and the Lakers have 2 of the top 5 players in a league that's highly driven by top tier players?
Or did you just babble on about nothing thinking it was legitimate?

Let's see them put together a team.
I'd be more impressed if they spread out that $32 mil.

But LeBron is almost 35 and only had better than his career averages across the board last year. He may play 17 games, tops.

Agree on that front. Rather see 4-5 good pieces than one max (minus Kawhi). But I may be in the minority.

I'd call it a win if LeBron plays 65-70 games. He needs more rest for the playoffs at this point in his career. See Kawhi.

No doubt. Run that dude out there 55-60 games for load management purposes and "sleepwalk" to the 3/4 seed and hope you get HOU round 2 since we know that's their ceiling.

Less important in the playoffs when the rotation depth tightens up IMO.
Plus you don't know exactly who you can actually get from that lesser free agent pool. You're assuming they can just have their pick of those guys but that may not be the case.
If the choice is say Kawhi or 3-4 other guys that may or may not end up signing with you I take Kawhi.

Y’all are being very obtuse about Love in that 15-16 season. LeBron loves turning his 20 ppg PFs who are beasts in the post into Ryan Anderson. It’s exactly why they don’t need a third superstar because they already have that stretch 4 in Kyle Kuzma but LeBron behaves like the quintessential millennial playing 2k so they’ll max out Kemba or Russell and go 39-43 next year with the D League rotation and LeBron will complain about team management when he is the reason why they are in the situation they are in.

Lebron gets no passes on roster management. Just like he didn’t last season.

I see it both ways. Bet GS wishes they had some depth about a month ago. Flukey, sure.
By the way - I take Kawhi too with 0 hesitation. I meant I wouldnt max anyone besides Kawhi. No Kawhi and I add 4-5 strong pieces. Hence (minus Kawhi) in my post.

Could be worse. They could go 38-44. Strong prediction.

With each passing hour it is looking more like:
Out - Eric and Clint
IN - DJ and Butler
This isn’t the first time DeAndre Jordan’s been linked to Houston nor will it be the last if he doesn’t end up in a Rockets uniform. He’s reportedly drawn interest from Los Angeles, New York and Brooklyn — with the latter two seen as recruiting tactics. Team sources still believe Jordan wants to return home, and that could strengthen if Capela is moved. He’s still close with (Chris) Paul, and extremely close with (Jimmy) Butler should that move materialize.

No. You are being stupid.
Love took 5.1, 5.1, and 6.6 treys his last 3 years in Minny. Basically the same as a Cav.

That's such a bitch move by Harden, if true. He wants good players?! Wtf
Posted on 6/27/19 at 8:49 pm to RPtoDoubleT
I thought Jordan hated Paul

these guys want to play with him. Taking pay cuts to do it. They could get they market value in the places like LA, Philly, etc but they want to take less to be able to play with harden.

He went from taking 30% of his shots from 3 in his last 3 years to 43% of his shots from there. His average shot distance went from 12.5 feet to 15 feet from his last 3 seasons in Minnesota to his first 2 in Cleveland.

Imagine being in the situation LA is in and thinking it's a negative.
